Even though our factory is adhering to the highest ethical standards, the piece was clearly designed to link Pippa Middleton in a negative manner with Indian manufacturing and promote a return to UK manufacturing.

With regards to our international production I would like to reassure you that the Chennai factory we outsource the Modalu production to, is internationally renowned. They adhere to our high ethical and legal standards and we have a strong , trusted working relationship with the factory. We undertake regular factory visits and carry out our own independent audits, which are both thorough and comprehensive, on a regular basis.  The standard has always been met with the factory achieving the highest possible grades and fulfilling all criteria in the audit. The factory is officially accredited to SA 8000  -  an international standard certification that ensures the business complies with corporate, ethical and social responsibilities.

The latest inspirational Autumn/Winter 2012 collection is the gorgeous Tapestry Stem Print.  This features the trademark Orla Kiely prints in a selection of Autumn hues, inspired by the enchanted forest using rich tones of raspberry, slate, olive and forest green.  These warm autumnal colours are set on a cream background making this a very wearable and useable collection.
